Travelers are looking for a way to minimize their time spent in there in the airport terminal while also being as efficient as possible with the time they do have, avoiding places where their are of people where they cannot easily distance themselves.
Project Overview
SOAR is an airport food delivery app built off the Covid-19 & the Airport Environment research project. The research was conducted in August of 2020 and looked at the effect of COVID-19 on the airport environment and how to better effect change in a pandemic influenced world. The data below was collected from a google survey of surveying 105 participants who have flown before ranging in age from 18-65+.

User Flows
User 1: First Time User
Seeing an advertisement for soar on a digital sign around the airport they download it. Using the app they explore the restaurants available in the terminal around them, before selecting a restaurant and ordering food for pickup on their way to their next gate. Enabling them to skip the the queue outside the restaurant.
User 2: Frequent Flyer
Traveling often for work and the occasional vacation, the frequent flyer often has short layovers between flights. When using the app they often explore restaurants in the airport favorites as the travel across the globe. Getting their food delivered to the gate on landing so they can enjoy it while waiting for their next fight without having to wait in line to pick it up.
User 3: Frequent User
Having already ordered their food the frequent user opens the app to check on the status of their order before hoping on there next flight, enabling them to save time in-between flights, maximizing their shorter layover times.

Populated with all restaurants in the airport, the airport map page allows travelers to explore with ease what is available to eat around them. Restaurants that have joined Soar can add their menus enabling travelers to order food directly from the app.
AIRPORT RESTAURANT PAGE
The airport restaurant page is the travelers home for discovering what restaurants are available at a given airport. With airport favorites and curated recommendations based on past buying habits to hi-light the airports best and brighter options.
RESTAURANT MENU PAGE
Customizable by restaurant owners they are able to select banner color and organize there menu options to best promote who why are. With the Soar team available at set up to help capture scrumptious images of all there food.
