COVID-19 & the Airport Environment

The Airport Environment

Airports, like all modals of transportation were drastically effected overnight by the onslaught of the COVID-19 Pandemic. In order to better understand the changes in consumer habits and effect change in the airport as we move further into the future of a pandemic influenced world we focused our research on our local Syracuse Hancock International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.
This study was carried out beginning in August of 2020 with the final phase and presentation of the project following in late November and early December of that same year.

Virtual Work

Like the rest of the world we were also affected by the pandemic, to cross this bridge we used Zoom, Miro, and Google Drive to collaborate on the project.
